Boys Middle School Football · 5th/6th Football Team Wins Super Bowl

Park Tudor’s 5th/6th football team ended its season Tuesday evening, winning the Washington Township Football League Super Bowl! The team posted a perfect 6-0 record throughout the regular season.

They defeated the Colts in their first playoff game on Monday evening, 22-0, which earned them the right to compete for the championship on Tuesday. In a very hard-fought game of ups and downs, the team was down by seven points with less than a minute to go.

But it wasn’t over. Our boys scored a touchdown with only 18 seconds left in the game. They went for the two-point conversion. Cason Ritz took the snap from center and his backs set off to the right for what looked like a sweep. Cason tucked the ball and went left, crossing the corner of the end zone for two points and the championship! The team won, 14-13. Congratulations to the team on an exceptional season!
