Game Recap

Park Tudor moved to 2-1 on the young season with a well-played 4-2 win at St. Richard’s in their first league game of the season.

Humza Raza put the Panthers up 1-0, after taking a neat pass from Alex Parrish and turning to place a low shot into the back of the net. The hosts equalized, but Izzy Miroff put Park Tudor back on top with a close-range finish following a long throw by Oscar Stuart and a redirect from Raza.

In the 2nd half, PTMS extended their lead after Miroff set up Ty Komatsu, who scored to make it 3-1. St. Richard’s fought back and scored again, but the Panthers iced the contest when Marcus Kennedy calmly converted a penalty kick.

Ahmed Athar and Owen Camferdam both made monster saves in goal to keep the Panthers on top. Myles Nehrling and Alex Parrish were monsters themselves at central defense, and Will Morris also played a stellar game in the back with help from Owen Camferdam, Ahmed Athar and Luke Fisher.

Marcus Kennedy, Isaiah Crafton and David Mokoya were key cogs in central midfield, with Miroff, Raza and Humza Raza leading the forward line. Kyron Baptiste, Zac Snyder, Keaton Watanabe and Ty Komatsue provided support at both forward and midfielder to help secure the win.

PTMS next plays Tuesday at Westlane and Thursday at home vs. Perry Meridian.
