Winning its third state championship in four years, the Park Tudor boys basketball team topped Westview, 84-57, for the Class 2A title in the 104th annual IHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament.
Leading scoring for the Panthers was Xavier-bound senior Trevon Bluiett, who exited the game with 38 points to break the record for most points in the 2A title game. He ended his 4-year starting career with 2,568 points, sixth on the state’s all-time scoring list.
The team’s 14-of-27 three-point field goals set new records in the title game for both made and attempted 3-pointers. The 27-point margin of victory also made its way into the record books.
Bryce Moore and Austin Shelton also contributed big points for Park Tudor, 18 and 10, respectively. Alex Mack was 3-4 beyond the arc, adding 9 points for the Panthers.
Congratulations to the entire boys basketball team, Head Coach Kyle Cox and the coaching staff, head trainer Betsy Bradley, and all of the cheerleaders on a great ending to an incredible season for the Panthers! Thank you to all of the fans for your support!
