For the second straight year, the Park Tudor boys basketball team captured the Marion County Championship trophy. Congratulations to the team and coaching staff on all their hard work.
The journey to the top of the tournament started with a 94-73 win over Roncalli, followed by a 56-51 final overcoming Lawrence North’s defense. Facing a young North Central squad in the semifinal, the PT Panthers grabbed a spot in the championship game, 94-80. Alex Mack was on fire, shooting 7 of 8 three-pointers and netting 25 points. Trevon Bluiett surpassed 2,000 career points with 42 in that game.
In the championship, Warren Central kept it close in the first half, ending in a 32-32 tie. But the Panthers showed their strength in the second half, capturing the championship, 65-51.
