Game Recap

The predicted rain and lightning held off on Wednesday evening as the Panthers took to the field at Lawrence North for a scrappy game on the wet natural grass. Park Tudor emerged victorious in the end, led by seven points (3G, 4A) from Simon Brown (’18) and six points (4G, 2A) from Tom Root (’18). Defenseman Alex Gregory (’18) led the team in ground balls with eight and picked up a goal and an assist as well. Joe Crossin (’18) and Michael Magdycz (’19) played tough at defensive midfield and contributed mightily to the team’s clearing. Goalie Nick Coury (’18) earned the win allowing only one goal and stopping seven shots. Jacob Lacy (’18) was a standout at close defense. Freshman Salaar Mirza saw his first major playing time of the season and earned the game ball for his efforts.
