Game Recap

The Panthers gave it all they had in a tough game that called on everyone to contribute, many of them for the first time or in new ways. In his first game as a close defenseman, Ian McWilliams (’18) literally took one for the team that ended his night. Fellow defenseman Alex Gregory (’18) blew a tire and attempted valiantly to fight through it. Charlie Neuman (’17) and Hudson Reamer (’20) anchored the defense and cleared the ball exceedingly well, helped in no small way by goalie Nick Coury’s (’18) outstanding passing. Tom Root (’18) led the way on offense, tallying three points (2G 1A). John McClain (’17) and Reamer tied for the team lead in ground balls with four each. Midfielders Dillon Mobasser (’17) and Lee Chandler (’18) deserve accolades for their intense two-way play, and defensive midfielders Joe Crossin (’18) and Michael Magdycz (’19) were relentless in their hustle.
